Confort, quality, reliability

I love this 2010 limited hybrid, if maintained will run forever. The J-vin #'s are the way to go. This, for its size, is decent on gas, 25 mpg... and the batteries that self charges also seem to last forever. It takes any steep hill, even with ease. I'm a 4runner fan and this Highlander is my new favorite. It The features and comfort of this SUV are on par with luxury SUV. It is smooth and quiet.. I can't hear the engine even after 15 years., It behaves as if it is a brand new vehicle. I don't take this off roading, but for city, country and even bad road conditions this performs well. It behaves like it is brand new. AC, in front and back are excellent, even on 95 degree days. Was garage kept. I would not trade this for double its worth. Easy vehicle to maintain, if you keep it up!! It can easily run past 350K miles if maintained. Con: the pick up is slow. 0-60 in 8.9 seconds, but in comparison to my 4-runner this seems to do better. Backup camera is great but small.… - 5.0

Can do just about anything

As soon as they released the new face lift on this generation of Highlander, I knew I wanted one! Originally drove a Toyota Matrix and Toyota Corolla. I purchased a certified used from my local Toyota dealer at approx. 60k miles (2013 v6 awd SE trim, blue exterior/black leather interior) in 2019 for ~$26k after financing while I was in college. Just sold it a few weeks ago at 138k miles for just above $10k to a carmax type place. I traveled the entire west coast in that, with long commutes to and from work, went through several moves to different states, 12hr+drives, constant 5 to 6hr commutes to see family, towed my empty weight 3.5k lb camping trailer and ~4k lb empty horse trailer (plus goats) several, several times. Even installed a 4way and 7way plus brake controller and towing harness to get everything I needed done... She only threatened a tranny overheat once... against 20+ mph winds and 100 degree heat. Utah, California, Nevada, Oregon, full of goats, dogs, family, furniture, you name it! Only sold to upgrade for more towing power, and getting a Sequoia because I love the 3rd row convenience/space. Otherwise, never would have sold it. Such an amazing car.…
